CPAmerica Lead Team
CPAmerica's Lead Team is responsible for directing the creation, development and implementation of all CPAmerica services, programs and products.
Alan Deichler
President
Alan Deichler is the president of CPAmerica and oversees the association's growth and development. Prior to being named CPAmerica president, Deichler was most recently chief marketing officer at talent management software provider HRsmart in Richardson, Texas, where he headed worldwide sales and marketing efforts.
Deichler has more than 35 years of corporate experience, having held previous management and executive positions with Capital Formation Counselors, Inc., IBM and Ernst & Young, LLP. He holds a bachelor's degree in management from Jacksonville University.
Grace Lambert Horvath
Director of Services
Grace Lambert is the Director of Services of CPAmerica. She manages all member-driven departments within CPAmerica including publications, events, marketing and member services.
Prior to joining CPAmerica, Grace supported associations through sales and marketing at Naylor Publications, a media and event solutions company for a wide variety of association clients. Grace also served as director of marketing and leasing for a high-end community development corporation. Grace holds a bachelor's degree in English from Florida International University.
Jeremy Scheer
Director of Operations
Jeremy Scheer is the Director of Operations of CPAmerica. He supervises the accounting staff and is responsible for financial reporting to the President, Board of Directors, and Council of Members.
Jeremy graduated with High Honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master's degree in Accounting. He is a licensed CPA. Jeremy has background experience in public accounting with Davis Monk & Company and Austin Bovay & Gillman, both in Gainesville, Florida, as well as background experience in real estate marketing and development.
Ernie Moyer
Director of CPAConnect
Ernie Moyer is responsible for the growth and member service activities for the organization's companion association, CPAConnect, which is a community of over 230 smaller, independent CPA firms across the country.
Moyer has been involved in numerous technology-based start-up companies and has taken eight such companies public through acquisition. Prior to that, he was president of such companies as SysMed, a medical software company; environmental services and engineering firm Quadrex HPS; and material science company Geltech. Moyer began his career as a banker, serving as vice president of commercial lending with Atlantic First National Bank of Gainesville for six years.
Moyer holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Florida State University and master's in bank administration from Louisiana State University's Graduate School of Banking
