Mark Weber joined VonLehman & Company Inc., in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1981 after graduating from Miami University with a bachelor's degree in accounting. Weber is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio and Kentucky Societies of CPAs. He has continued his education with annual updates through these organizations. The additional CPE courses he attends are designed specifically to meet the accounting, consulting and advisory services of his clients in the construction industry.
Weber is currently chairman of the firm's Construction Services Group and specializes in the tax and accounting needs of closely held construction companies. His typical clients include general contractors, subcontractors and other construction-related companies. Weber provides his clients job cost analysis, gross profit reconciliation, tax planning, analysis of revenue recognition methods for tax purposes, cash flow forecasting and bonding consultation.
Weber is an active member of various organizations which support the construction industry. He is a board member and treasurer of the American Subcontractors Association. He is also involved in the Construction Financial Management Association, Allied Construction Industries and Associated Builders and Contractors.
