West Des Moines, Iowa, July 2022 – MHCS, a certified public accounting and business advisory firm, announces the promotion of Nick Finkenauer, CPA from Tax Principal to Shareholder.
Nick joined MHCS in November 2012 and leads the Construction and Real Estate practice. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Nick specializes in partnership taxation, state and local tax (SALT), and closely held businesses. He is originally from Sherrill, Iowa and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with his bachelor’s degree in accounting. Nick currently lives in Grimes, Iowa with his wife and their three children. He is active in our community through ALS Association of Iowa and was the former treasurer of Morsel Combat. Additionally, Nick is a graduate of ABI Leadership Iowa, West Des Moines Leadership Academy, and the Iowa Motor Truck Association Leadership Academy
