Bethesda, MD, November 2022 – GRF CPAs & Advisors (GRF), an Inside Public Accounting (IPA) Top 125 Public Accounting Firm and Accounting Today Regional Leader, is pleased to announce that Patty Kautz, CPA has joined the firm as Executive Vice President. Bringing nearly 35 years of leadership experience in operations, finance, governance, and strategy, Ms. Kautz most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at IPA Top 200 firm, VonLehman & Company. Her extensive career also includes managing the accounting departments for entities owned by a large family office and serving as an auditor at Deloitte & Touche (now Deloitte).

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Ms. Kautz is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of CPAs. She is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and has supported her alma mater over the years in various roles that support the College of Business and women alumni. Having previously served as President, Ms. Kautz is a member Emeritus of the University of Cincinnati College of Business Alumni Council where she actively volunteers her time mentoring alumni and current students. She was also recently recruited as the first volunteer to lead the newly formed, Women of UC Alumni Network, created to advance the power of the 164k+ female graduates of the University of Cincinnati.
Outside of the University of Cincinnati, Ms. Kautz is also active in charitable activities for nonprofit organizations such as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Past leadership roles include serving her local church community as Chair of the Finance/Operations Committee and Member of the Parish Pastoral Council.
