Wayne, PA- November 21, 2025- Wayne Kaplan joins Stephano Slack as Senior Strategic Advisor to the Firm, bringing over 35 years of public accounting leadership and strategic insight to support the firm’s , continued growth operational, and distinctive client service.
Wayne previously served as Office Managing Partner for Grant Thornton’s Philadelphia office, where he -led large-scale cross-functional teams and oversaw significant market expansion, while representing a large diverse client base of privately held and public companies. Most recently, he served as an Advisory Board member and interim Chief Financial Officer at Makosi, a global professional services firm specializing in tech-enabled workforce strategies for professional services firms of all sizes.
In his new advisory role, Wayne will work closely with Stephano Slack’s leadership team to advance strategic initiatives, strengthen quality and efficiency, and help guide the firm’s next phase of growth. His responsibilities will include:
- Advising partners and senior leaders on technical and operational excellence.
- Providing insight on practice development and strategic planning.
- Supporting leadership development and mentoring across the firm.
