Lake Oswego, OR — (JAN. 16, 2025)—Aldrich recently named its five new partners for 2026, reflecting the firm’s ongoing growth and commitment to cultivating experienced, forward-looking leadership in service to its clients. The 2026 partner class includes Bill AbelMeghan BurtonJeremy McAdamsDion Nero, and Emily Payment.

Together, they span multiple service lines and industries, including tax, assurance, utility consulting, and private wealth tax, and reflect the diverse knowledge and locations of Aldrich professionals nationwide.

Bill Abel, CPA

Bill Abel joined Aldrich CPAs + Advisors LLP in 2022, bringing over a decade of experience in the tax and accounting industry. Bill provides tax services to a wide range of clients, with specialized experience in start-up and tech companies, international, and multi-state taxation. Bill holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from California State University, East Bay, and a Master of Science in Taxation from San Jose State University. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Meghan Burton, CPA

Meghan Burton brings two decades of experience in strategic tax planning and compliance for high and ultra-high net worth individuals, as well as privately held businesses and their owners. She now serves as both a partner and the Director of Private Wealth Tax at Aldrich CPAs + Advisors. Meghan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from California State University, Long Beach.

Jeremy McAdams, CPA

Jeremy McAdams joined Aldrich CPAs + Advisors in 2023 with over 15 years of experience in the construction and real estate sectors. He provides tax and advisory services to privately held businesses, with previous experience as a controller and a background spanning local, regional, and national public accounting firms. Jeremy is a member of the AICPA, the Utah Association of CPAs (UACPA), and is actively involved with the Association of General Contractors and Associated Builders and Contractors. He holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Utah.

Dion Nero

Dion Nero serves as a partner and the Director of Utility Consulting at Aldrich CPAs + Advisors. He brings nearly 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including project management and strategic consulting for cooperatives and privately-owned incumbent local exchange carriers. Dion joined Aldrich in 2022 and is actively engaged in national industry organizations, including the Alaska Telephone Association, Oklahoma Telephone Association, Western Telephone Alliance, and NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University.

Emily Payment, CPA

Emily Payment joined Aldrich CPAs + Advisors LLP in 2011 and provides assurance and audit services to clients in the food processing, manufacturing, and distribution industries. Emily is known for her client-focused approach, building strong, trusted relationships, while taking the time to understand each client’s business, risks, and goals. She works closely with businesses to strengthen internal controls and provides best practice insights while leading audit engagements. Emily holds both a Bachelor of Science and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Oregon.
