Colleen M. Berndt, CPA, Senior Manager
Colleen has practiced public accounting since 1989 and holds valuable experience in both public accounting and corporate firms. She brings practical solutions and a commonsense approach to her work and seeks to develop relationship with each of her clients while ensuring timely responses to her clients’ needs. Colleen holds a bachelor’s degree from American International College and sits on the Board of Directors of the Colburn Keenan Foundation. Colleen resides in Granville and enjoys spending her free time gardening or exercising while listening to an audio book.
Mia A. McDonald, Associate
Mia is an associate in the audit and accounting department at Meyers Brothers Kalicka, P.C. (MBK). She has worked in public accounting since 2020 when she began as an intern with MBK. Mia holds bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Business Management with a mathematics minor, accounting concentration and anticipates completing her Master of Science in Accounting in May 2023. Having been a student-athlete and team captain throughout the entirety of her college career, she brings strength in leadership and teamwork to each of her engagements and takes pride in her time management. Mia is committed to success and seeks out opportunities to help others and grow personally. She is extremely self-motivated and dedicated to seeing projects through, from start to finish.
Mia approaches customer service with an open mind and listening ears. She has worked with customers since she started scooping ice cream in high school and loves building relationships and getting to know and understand who she is working with and what their individual needs are. She is always seeking to do her best to accommodate any of those needs, while also looking for other opportunities to improve. Mia resides in Westfield, MA.
Karen A. Korpinen, MSA, Associate
Karen is an associate in the audit and accounting department at Meyers Brothers Kalicka, P.C. (MBK). She brings her experience in the nonprofit field to her work in public accounting with MBK and approaches customer service with a positive attitude, clear communication, and creative problem solving. Karen’s strong teamwork and commitment to continued learning and growth makes her an asset on each of her engagements. She holds a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) from Merrimack College and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Clark University. Karen serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Northampton Parents Center and resides in Florence with her two children where she enjoys spending her leisure time in the outdoors.

Eric J. Bone, Associate
Eric is an associate in the audit and accounting department at Meyers Brothers Kalicka, P.C. (MBK). He brings his fresh perspective to his engagements as a recent college graduate and believes customer service starts with listening to our clients’ unique needs so that he can better understand their business and help them achieve their goals. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy with a minor in finance from Providence College and is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Accounting with a focus in data analytics at UMass Amherst. He is eager to continue growing as an accountant to best help his team and clients succeed.
