Salt Lake City, Utah — (January 14, 2026) — Larson & Company is proud to announce Cameron Hodson, CPA, CISA, has been promoted to the position of Audit Partner in our Salt Lake City location. Cameron has more than 10 years of public accounting experience and has spent his career from internship to partner as part of the Larson team.
Cameron specializes in IT and Risk Assurance Audits, SOC audits and data analytics. Cameron is the firm’s subject matter expert on AI implementation and security processes. He ensures his teams and client partners benefit from technology recommendations and AI efficiencies. He has been an active participant in growing the SOC audit practice and leads their marketing and practice growth efforts..
He has presented on various technology and security topics in the risk assurance community.
Cameron works with companies in various types of industries for financial and IT audits, including technology, insurance, not-for-profit, retail, manufacturing and more. Cameron is an expert at efficiency and organization and has helped the firm streamline its processes around control assessments and adapting new technologies for maximum efficiency.
Cameron brings a blend of professionalism and camaraderie to his new leadership role and is an outstanding mentor and coach to fellow employees.
Cameron is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants (UACPA), and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). He is also the immediate past chair of the Healthy Environment Alliance of Utah and previously served on the board of the BYU Management Society. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) and an Accounting Information Systems (AIS) certification.
