Effective January 1, 2025, Chip Chaon has assumed the role of CEO and Managing Principal, succeeding Chris Overturf. One of the key motivations behind this transition is our commitment to having a non-client-facing CEO and Managing Principal who can focus exclusively on the firm’s strategic direction and operational excellence. As CEO, Chip will oversee the firm’s day-to-day operations, driving its growth, sustainability, and reputation for quality, integrity, and client satisfaction. His leadership will be instrumental in ensuring LattaHarris continues to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients and communities.
This transition also enables Chris Overturf to dedicate more time to his clients while leading the expansion of our business valuation services. Chris’s leadership during his tenure as CEO and Managing Principal has been exemplary. Under his guidance, LattaHarris has strengthened its culture, embraced innovation, and navigated significant organizational and technological advancements. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Chris for his remarkable contributions, which have left a lasting legacy. Chris will remain an integral part of our senior leadership team and a member of our Executive Committee, ensuring continuity and ongoing collaboration.
Chip Chaon brings extensive experience and a deep commitment to LattaHarris’ vision. A highly accomplished professional with over two decades of executive leadership experience, Chip has demonstrated exceptional expertise in business development, strategic growth, financial management, sales and marketing leadership, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, and continuous improvement.
In his previous roles as Chief Operating Officer, President, and CEO, Chip has consistently delivered outstanding results, guiding organizations to success in high-growth, mission-driven, and geographically diverse environments. He holds a BA from Coe College and an MBA from the University of Iowa, combining academic rigor with real-world experience to navigate complex business landscapes with confidence and agility.
