HRC Announces New Staff Accountant

Las Vegas, Nevada (July 16, 2023) — Sul Ki Kim is a dedicated Staff Accountant in the Tax and Assurance Departments at HRC, bringing a wealth of experience and a strong educational background to his role. He joined our team in 2023 and is proving himself as a valuable asset to the company.

Sul Ki’s journey in accounting began when he attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where he earned a Master’s degree in Accountancy in 2021. Prior to that, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting in 2015.

Sul Ki served as a proud member of the United States Army, an opportunity that humbled him and allowed him to serve the country that provided him with a chance to achieve the American dream.  After completing his military service, he worked at a Big Four accounting firm, gaining invaluable experience in audit and assurance for various industries, including commercial and tribal gaming, consumer markets, and health sciences services. During this time, he discovered his passion for tax and made a successful transition to the tax department.

“Never back down” is a phrase that encapsulates Sul Ki’s character. He approaches challenges head-on and is known for his determination and unwavering commitment to his work. His personal service philosophy revolves around giving back to the community, and he actively seeks ways to contribute to the betterment of society.

Diligence and resilience are the attributes that Sul Ki attributes to his success. Inspired by his father, a business owner who emphasized the importance of sound accounting practices, Sul Ki strives for excellence in his field.

In his leisure time, Sul Ki enjoys running or simply going for walks. He once ran a half-marathon while stationed in South Korea because his friend signed them up, highlighting his adventurous spirit.

Originally born and raised in South Korea, Sul Ki immigrated to the United States. Despite the distance, he keeps in touch with his family overseas through FaceTime, cherishing the connections that span across borders.

Through his dedication, resilience, and commitment to service, Sul Ki Kim continues to make a meaningful impact in the world of accounting.
