Pease Bell Announces Partnership with Modus Audit

Cleveland, OH — March 31, 2026 —  Pease Bell CPAs, LLC (“Pease Bell”) is pleased to share that we have partnered with Modus Audit, Inc. (“Modus”).  This partnership will take Pease Bell to the leading edge of technology development and implementation.  The ultimate goal is to use an AI forward approach to delivering audit and tax services to our clients thereby minimizing as much as possible the burden that audit and tax work places on a client’s team.  

An immediate change you are going to see is that Pease Bell will be implementing an alternative practice structure.  This means the audit practice will be conducted through a sister company.  Most importantly, you will continue working with the same professionals you know and trust.Your day-to-day interactions, service teams and commitment to responsiveness will remain unchanged.
Several administrative updates—common in an alternative practice structure—will occur as follows:  

• Under this new model, Pease Bell CPAs will remain a licensed CPA firm and will continue to provide all attest services, including audits and reviews.  

• We have established a new affiliated entity, Pease Bell Advisory LLC (“Pease Bell Advisory”), which will provide all tax, advisory, and other non-attest services. This structure allows us to further strengthen our service capabilities while maintaining a seamless client experience.  

• As part of this transition, all current employees will become employees of Pease Bell Advisory. Certain partners will continue as partners of Pease Bell CPAs while also working with Pease Bell Advisory.    

• In connection with attest engagements, Pease Bell CPAs will lease professional and administrative staff from Pease Bell Advisory. These individuals will be under the direct supervision and control of Pease Bell CPAs, which remains solely responsible for the performance and quality of all audit and attest services.  

• Pease Bell Advisory will consist of the same professionals you currently work with. As it will not perform audit or attestation services, Pease Bell Advisory will not be a licensed CPA firm. Any existing or previously executed engagement letters or service agreements related to non-attest services will be assigned from Pease Bell CPAs to Pease Bell Advisory.

• Additionally, all client records and files will be transferred to and maintained by Pease Bell Advisory. Both Pease Bell CPAs and Pease Bell Advisory will continue to adhere to the same strict confidentiality requirements and professional standards in safeguarding your information, while maintaining the high level of service you expect.
